11 people sentenced for organizing prostitution and extorting money from evilgangs through "jumping immortals"

Organizing "Fairy Jumping" extortion recruiters

Our court determined that in October 2018, the defendant planned with Wu, Xun,Zhang Moufei, etc., and decided to organize the personnel to obtain illegalinterests in a "Fairy Jumping" method. After Wu contacted, acriminal organization was established, and the defendant Zhao Mouke contactedand provided a prostitute. The defendant Wu and Zhang Moufei were the leaders,the defendant was a driver, and the defendants Ma and Li were prostitutes.

After obtaining the customer information provided by the "push onehand" online, Wu assigned the task, and the leader, driver and prostituteformed a "action group" to drive to the hotel where the prostitutewas. The prostitute told the leader after receiving the money or having arelationship. The leader took the driver to the door of the room. Theprostitute immediately opened the door and took the opportunity toleave. The captain and driver use violent and threatening methods, such asverbal intimidation and phone calls, to ask customers for "two-timepayment", such as "onsite fees" and "service fees".

After more than one month since its establishment, more than 10 cases have beenverified.

At around 8 pm on November 11, 2018, according to the information released byWu, Zhang led the convoy and Wang drove with him to a hotel on Changle WestRoad for prostitution. The victim did not look at He Mou and asked him toleave. He Mou asked for travel expenses. The victim paid 400 yuan incash to He Mou. After He Mou left, Zhang and Wang entered the room andlied that the police had arrested the prostitute and demanded money from thevictim. The victims were again forced to pay 400 yuan in cash, and thelatter two continued to demand money. The victim also paid 400 yuan usingWeChat and 500 yuan with Alipay. The latter two also said they had toomany brothers. If they don't have enough money, they continue to demandmoney and threaten to let the brothers downstairs go upstairs if theydon't. The victims had no choice but to pay the two men via WeChat for1,600 yuan, and then they left.

On the evening of November 25, at the Zhang Jianlu Hotel, the gang used thesame method, first asking the victim for an introduction fee of 500 yuan, andthen asking the victim for 3,000 yuan. They also claimed that people whoknew the police station would not give the police money. The victim passedthe remaining several hundred yuan of money on WeChat to the other party. Asthey continued to ask, they saw the victim prepare to call the police and leavethe scene.

The court found that although the organization was established for more than amonth, the public security agency alone verified more than 10 cases during thisperiod, and a large number of cases were not prosecuted because the victimscould not be executed.

All members were sentenced for different crimes.

All but nine of thedefendants knew that the criminal organization established by the organizationto commit the crime of "jumping immortality" had accepted Wu'sleadership, management and command, and all participated in it.
